Epiphany #2

So, someone posted this link and now I am beginning to realize..

Maybe I need to rethink this Twitter thing?

    I made fun of Twitter when my husband started. 140 characters. Ha. You were allowed to watch too much television as a child and don’t have the attention span of a blogger, 140 characters! And then I started meeting some of the other people in town doing Twitter and the thing is, someone is always there. It’s like this giant coffeeshop where you’re welcome to join into any interesting bits of conversation that pass in front of you, and if you need commiseration, someone is going to commiserate, and if you need congratulations, someone is going to congratulate. Cannot live without Twitter now, embarrassingly, but the funny thing is many of the people I “follow” are people also in Portland and I meet them and have real friendships with them. Everyone thinks it’s stupid at first. But then they get hooked.
