And thanks for the linky--now I can see that yours is a fancy new teeny-weeny scrolly ball, what the Physicist and I used to call, in fact, "the clit." When the clit is broken....it's Dr. Apple time fo sho. ;o)

consider yourself linked! (and thanks for the fo-one-one!!)

as for flipping it over and spritzing some cleaner, i think i inadvertently botched this process with too much cleaner...

my poor little scrolly ball...it'll go up, but it won't even make it's little clicky noise when i want to go down.

...to be continued...

I caved in a few years ago and got an earlier version of <a href="http://store.apple.com/us/product/TM970LL/A?n=mice_trackballs&fnode=home/shop_mac/mac_accessories/mice_keyboards&mco=Njg3Nzc5&s=topSellers" rel="nofollow">this M$ one</a>, which is admittedly now an extension of my hand

Razer makes one which is cute and pink. (Cf. also Apple Store.)

Also, can't you just flip that sucker over, spritz some cleaner on a cloth and wash your scrolly ball into happiness again?

Finally but by no means least—LINK US UP, woman! It's a blog; we need a link; how can we know whether to believe you when you say it's pretty-looking? Ours is a cynical, dubious generation.
