missing on this list, and you MUST read is Barak Obama’s first book. “Dreams from My Father: A Story of Race and Inheritance” This book is amazing, and after you read it, you’ll know even more why he is an amazing man, and will be an amazing president. It includes chapters on growing up in Hawaii, his confused identity as a black and white man, living in Indonesia, and finding his extended family in Africa.
thanks for the recommendation, mls!
let me know if you can remember any books that we read that didn’t make it on the list!
